For books with word counts between 110,000-150,000 words.
Our Story Star Review Service evaluates your book across seven comprehensive craft criteria to determine whether it earns 0-5 story stars. Every submission, regardless of the star rating, receives detail, professional feedback in all seven areas. All books will also receive a marketable tagline to advertise to your target reader and a more standard review paragraph for prospective readers.
If your book earns 1-5 Story Stars, it will be permanently added to our book catalogue for no additional cost. Starred books also gain access to opportunities such as homepage features and newsletter spots (some free, some optional paid placements).
We do not review:
- A.I. generated books.
- Books that are plagiarized.
- Books that are non-fiction, children’s fiction, or poetry.
Every Book Reviews Include:
- In-depth and professional feedback in 7 story craft areas: narrative craft, prose, characters, dialogue, worldbuilding & tone, originality & theme, and format.
- A marketable tagline.
- A summary review paragraph for prospective readers
- A 0-5 Story Star rating based on the book’s overall quality
- Books achieving 1+ Story Stars are:
- Added permanently to our Book Catalogue for free.
- Sent a badge that can be used for advertisements and on the front of your book.
- Eligible for newsletter features.
- Offered optional advertising opportunities.
Review Options and Delivery Times:
All our review tiers include the same level of analysis and deliverables. The only difference is the delivery speed:
- Standard Book Review: 3-6 weeks
- Priority Book Review: 14 days
- Express Book Review: 6-8 days
